Students Wear Pink to Send Bullies a Message

This story from Cambridge, Nova Scotia warmed my heart! (thanks Queer John)
Two grade 12 students at Central Kings Rural High School bought 75 pink tank tops, as well as pink material for head bands and arm bands for students to wear after a new student at the school was bullied for wearing a pink shirt.
The bullies threw a tantrum in the school cafeteria and one of the bullies angrily asked on of the pink crusaders whether he knew pink on a male was a symbol of homosexuality…
Obviously the bully didn’t know that pink is also the symbol of Breast Cancer Awareness or that pink is just a very nice soothing colour to wear period…
Full Story: I’ve stood around too long — Kudos to the students who stood up to the homophobic morons.
