GSA Network Sponsors Upcoming Youth Empowerment Summit

The GSA Network is sponsoring a Youth Empowerment Summit, (YES) in San Francisco in December. This free conference is for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, questioning, and straight ally youth dedicated to fostering safe schools and youth activism.
The conference is open to all youth and allies, with a focus on middle school and high school. Adults and teachers are welcome.
Stewart Wade, the director of the upcoming new film, Tru Loved will be a keynote speaker at this event. Matthew Thompson and Tye Olson who are two of the featured actors in this LGBT Family movie are also slated as keynote speakers.
Featured activities at the YES conference includes breakfast, workshops and even a drag show and dance at the end of the day.
