Messy Divorce Case in NY

All divorce cases are pretty messy, but imagine the extra mess that occurs when it’s a gay or a lesbian couple involved — and the state doesn’t even recognize the marriage in the first place.

Well, that’s just what’s happened in New York. However, a New York judge has refused to dismiss a divorce and child custody suit and will allow the lesbian couple in question, who married in Canada to sue for divorce.
