Filed Under Celebs, Court Cases, Gay Awards, Gay Entertainment, Gossip, TV
This bit of news is actually how I found out about Ellen’s Daytime Emmy nominations… Late Friday, I got a bulletin from Judge David Young saying that his new show got nominated for ‘Outstanding Legal/Courtroom Program’.
Daytime TV’s first openly Gay Judge started delivering justice on TV with a Snap on September 10, 2007.
In his MySpace message Judge David stated:
“I can hardly believe it , but as you may have heard, our show has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy!
It’s the premiere year for the category of Outstanding Legal/Courtroom program and also our show’s premiere season, so I cannot begin to tell you my surprise and joy when I found out we earned a nomination.
In fact, cameras were rolling when I was given the news.
I’ve posted the video for you to see the actual moment!*
Fingers crossed (…with a snap, of course) and say a little prayer!”
