An Early Date for Gay Marriage Ceremonies in California?

Same-sex couples in some counties in California may be able to marry as soon as Saturday, June 14th.
Monday, June 16th is another possible date that marriage licenses to same-sex couples may be extended to.
An effort, however, is under way to stay the Supreme Court’s decision until the November ballot; thus overruling the justices’ decision and amending the state constitution to ban gay marriage.
