Gay Marriage Stories from SF

Gay Marriage NewsWell, its day 2 or day 1 (depending on how you look at it and who you read) of legal same-sex marriages in California. And there’s a lot of great stories pouring in.

Although a glance at the headlines may convince one that every story that can be told is being told, there’s plenty more that won’t even make the headlines. Still, its exciting stuff — one can feel the vibes from all over California up here in Canada. Congrats to all the happy couples!

The folks over at the Experience Project are pretty excited about all this too. So, a bunch of them grabbed their cameras and were on hand this morning to join the celebration of the first same-sex marriages taking place in San Francisco’s city hall. It was a momentous occasion that was very emotional for all those present.

They’ve managed to document some of the personal stories of those getting married and what the historic act meant and felt for them. Videos and pictures are available here. There’s truly some great stories being shared.
